Good post this. Thanks. All of this goes to show that one man’s ”culture” is another man’s poison.

(Me? I’d have tried a plea bargain because I prefer Wagner and Stockhausen.....)

Hi Michael…Thanks for visiting. Yeah, I do agree that one man’s culture is another man’s poison. Its nice to know that you prefer to listen to legendary classical musicians like me. Even i would have gone for a plea bargain and listened to Bach and Beethoven, though listening for 20 hrs. is quite painful for anybody.

With relevance to the post, I do agree that forcing entertainment can be more torturous than penalizing in the conventional ways. I know a person out here who forces you to watch a movie with him and eulogize about it regardless of your personal opinion and preferences.
